The Engagement Manager role will champion high priority projects. This role will be responsible for key business priorities that help amplify the growth of our business, share best practices, and implement operational improvements.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a “doer” attitude, strong strategic skills, excellent time-management and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the comprehensive end-to-end delivery of a project with limited supervision from a Partner, identify key time scales for the different modules, and take responsibility for junior team members’ delivery.
  • Define project scope, develop core work plan and negotiate this with the client. Assign resources, identify key risks and define solutions.
  • Use strong business sense to ensure project recommendations are consistent with the over context (market, organization level)
  • Structure and manage complex and multiple project documents and develop proposals. Support and coach junior consultants with structuring and story lining
  • Manage and coach junior team members, acting as a role model, building project morale and encouraging recognition, adapting management style to the specific project and team.
  • Pro-actively support partners with BDV efforts through identifying leads and securing extensions to projects.
  • Is seen as a senior advisor by client executives and builds strong relationships with clients.
  • Act as an expert in a range of telecom and commercial topics; generate innovative ideas to build Delta Partners Intellectual Capital offering and proactively seeks to transfer knowledge.

Your Impact, As Engagement Manager, You

  • Are internally and externally recognized as business contributor, industry or product specialist.
  • Have high level of knowledge of relevant technologies, emerging business/ industry trends, competitive technical direction and product direction.
  • Integrate research and emerging technologies into company product platforms.
  • Determine methodologies and procedures on new assignments based on general direction from senior management.
  • Work on issues and projects which have high complexity.
  • Act as an advisor on complex issues and projects, exercising discretion and latitude in reaching project goals. Leads cross functional teams and mentors others.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering consulting services, including team leadership and active involvement in selling professional services.
  • 3+ years of international-level project or program management experience
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, executive level presence and experience in working in a client advisory role.
  • BA/BS or equivalent; MBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence a group audience, facilitate solutioning and lead discussions such as implementation methodology, Road mapping, Organization Transformation strategy, and executive-level requirement gathering sessions.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
